Maharashtra: Lightning claims 4 lives in Parbhani

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Four people including a 15-year old boy were killed and equal number injured when lightning struck them as unseasonal rains hit Parbhani district of Marathwada region on Friday.

Reports reaching from Parbhani district headquarter stated that, those who were killed were Balasaheb Baburao Phad(60), Parsaram Phad (40) from Ukhai of Gangakhed taluka, Aabhaji Nahatkar from Sadegaon in Sonpat taluka and 15-year-old Omkar Shinde from Shelgaon. Four others were injured due to lightning.

Ajantha and Soygaon were also hit by unseasonal rains along with hailstorm and gale resulting in damages to Rabbi crop in those areas. (with Agency inputs)
