Full Details: IAS couple's daughter jumps to death in Mumbai; Police investigation underway

A 26-year-old girl, daughter of Maharashtra cadre IAS officers, died after she jumped from the 10th floor of a high-rise apartment at Nariman Point in Mumbai. Read further on Dynamite News:

Mumbai: Lipi Rastogi, a daughter of Maharashtra cadre IAS couples Vikas Rastogi (MH:96) and Radhika Rastogi (MH:95) has committed suicide by jumping from the Suruchi Apartment in Mumbai this morning.

As per Dynamite News correspondent, she was 26 years old. She allegedly died by suicide around 4am.

According to the reports Lipi, who was pursuing her LLB in Sonipat, Haryana, had been experiencing anxiety over her academic performance.

She left a suicide note, now in police custody, stating that no one should be blamed for her death. 

A case has been registered and the police is further investigating the matter.

Radhika Rastogi is currently posted as the Principal Secretary (A&S), Home Department, Govt of Maharashtra and Vikas Rastogi is posted as Principal Secretary, Higher and Technical Education Department, Government of Maharashtra.

Lipi completed her BA from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. She was a former marketing professional with a background in handling luxe beauty brands. She also worked with Unilever and Nykaa.

Earlier, In 2017, an 18-year-old son of Maharashtra-cadre IAS officers Milind and Manisha Mhaiskar ended his life at a high rise in Malabar Hill.
