Maharashtra: 4 killed, 9 injured in car-jeep collision in Nashik

Mumbai: Four persons were killed and nine injured when a car and cruiser vehicle collided head one near Khori phata on Vani-Saputara road in Dindori taluka of Nashik on Friday.

According to police, the deceased were identified Vinayak Govind Kshirsagar (37) Yogesh Dilip Wagh (18) Jatin Anil Pavde (23) and Ravindra Motichand Chavan (22).

All the four victims are from Vani Vaillege in Dindori taluka.

The mishap occurred when the car was coming to Vani from Saputara while the cruiser was coming from the opposite direction.

All the nine injured in the cruiser car were admitted in Vani rural hospital, and later shifted to Nashik civil hospital. (with Agency inputs)
