Maharashtra: 2 killed, 6 injured after vehicle carrying devotees turns turtle on Samruddhi Expressway

Mumbai: Two people were killed and six others injured after an SUV carrying Shirdi-bound devotees turned turtle before being hit by another vehicle on the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway on Saturday morning, police said.
The devotees were coming from Yavatmal. The mishap occurred around 9 am, the police added.
The car's trye burst caused the accident.
Identification of Deceased
The deceased persons have been identified as Vidya Sable and Motiram Borkar.

Three of the injured are in critical condition. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
