Prayagraj: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj and took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.

PM shares post on X 
"Blessed to be at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The Snan at the Sangam is a moment of divine connection, and like the crores of others who have taken part in it, I was also filled with a spirit of devotion," PM Modi said in a post on X (Formerly known as Twitter).  

"May Maa Ganga bless all with peace, wisdom, good health and harmony," he added in the post.

Dressed in a full-sleeve deep orange jersey and blue lowers, PM held 'rudraksh' beads in his hands during the bathing ritual amid chants of mantras.

PM offered prayers to the Sun and River Ganga.

PM takes boat ride
PM Modi took a boat ride from Arail Ghat to the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati. He was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The Maha Kumbh, which is considered the largest spiritual garthering, has been drawing millions of devotees from across the world.

Over 38 crore pilgrims have visited the Maha Kumbh so far which began on Januray 13. (With Agency Inputs)
