MP: Two female Naxalites killed in encounter in Balaghat; large quantity of weapons recovered

Two female Naxalites, with reward of Rs.14 lakh each, were killed in an encounter with security forces here on Saturday. Read further on Dynamite News:

Balaghat: Two female Naxalites, with reward of Rs.14 lakh each, were killed in an encounter with security forces here on Saturday. A huge quantity of weapons were recovered. 

Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh told Dynamite News that on April 22, there was an encounter between Hawkforce and Naxalites in Kadla forest under Garhi police station. During this, the jawans have killed 2 women Naxalites.

The slain female Naxalites have been identified as Sunita and Sarita. Sunita was the Area Commander in Bhoram Dev, while at present she was ACM and was working in Tanda Dalam and Vistar Dalam. Apart from this, Sarita has been the guard of Naxalite Kabir, she was ACM in Khatia Mocha Dalam and currently active in Vistar Dalam.

Guns, cartridges, a large quantity of Naxalite weapons and eatables have been recovered from both of them. Several officers including the Inspector General of Police reached the spot.

Police has intensified the search operation in the area.
