Indore: A large number of Congress workers staged a unique protest on Tuesday alleging that common people are falling ill due to the increasing outbreak of mosquitoes in the country's cleanest city Indore.
According to the eyewitnesses, the Congress workers gathered at Rajbada Chowk in the city and sat on the ground after covering themselves in mosquito nets. They also distributed incense sticks and mosquito repellent rackets to the passersby.

Congress leader Pintu Joshi, who is leading the protest, alleged that due to the negligence of the Indore Municipal Corporation, mosquito repellents were not being sprayed in the city.
He said, “There is a menace of mosquitoes in the city. People are falling prey to malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases."
