Madhya Pradesh: 8 killed, several injured in head-on collision between SUV and truck in Sidhi

Sidhi: At least eight people were killed and 13 others injured following a collision between an SUV and a truck in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district, police said on Monday.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, the mishap occurred at 2.30 am on Monday near a petrol pump on Sidhi-Bahri Road.

The SUV carrying a family collided head-on with a truck coming from Sidhi. Nine injured have been refered to Rewa for treatment while 4 are being treated at Sidhi district hospital.
A police team has been formede to probe the accident.

The accident happened when a family was travelling in the SUV to Mehar for the child's 'Mundan' (Tonsuring ceremony).
The victims killed in the accident belonged to the Sahu family, who were the residents of Deori and Pandriya. The deceased include five women and three men.
