'Madhopur Ka Ghar' penned by IAS Tripurari Sharan released in Delhi
The novel 'Madhopur Ka Ghar' was released at the India International Center in Delhi on Saturday. The novel has been written by Tripurari Sharan, former Chief Secretary of Bihar and former Director General of Doordarshan. Eminent personalities from various fields gathered in the programme. New Delhi: 'Madhopur Ka Ghar' authored by senior IAS Tripurari Sharan, former Chief Secretary of Bihar and ex-Director General of Doordarshan, was released at a function held at India International Centre here.
Senior IAS and former Secretary General of Rajya Sabha Desh Deepak Verma was among a large number of celebrities from the fields literature, art, journalism, bureaucracy and politics who were present on this occasion.
The novel 'Madhopur Ka Ghar' is the story of three generations of a family spread through about 100 years. With the background of social change in Bihar, it is also a living document of the unusual events of history and their solutions. 'Madhopur Ka Ghar' is a bold yet deeply introspective novel, highly relevant and realistic in terms of its originality, beautiful commentary, believable plot, characterization, language style and craft.

After the release, Tripurari Sharan, in an exclusive conversation with Dynamite News, said that Madhopur has been used as a metaphor in the title of 'Madhopur Ka Ghar'. The novel carries story of many villages with almost similar journey.
Tripurari Sharan further said, there is a reference of a house in the novel. We all talk about the house but sometimes when we sit alone and deliberate on the real meaning of 'home', we often go into deep thinking. This novel is written with these two metaphors of 'house' in mind.
The release of 'Madhopur Ka Ghar' followed a vibrant discussion on the plot of the story.
Sahitya Akademi Award-winning writer Sushri Anamika, novelist Vandana Raag, novelist Praveen Kumar, who were present on the stage, interacted in detail with the audience.
