LS Polls: Smriti Irani files her nomination from Amethi

Amethi:  Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani on Thursday filed nomination from Amethi constituency for upcoming general elections.

Her husband Zubin Irani was with her in the Collectorate when she filed her papers.

Irani and her husband Zubin Irani performed 'pooja' ahead of her filing nomination.

The seat, which will head for voting in the fifth-phase on May 6, will see a straight contest between Rahul Gandhi and Smriti Irani.
