LS Polls: Ruckus in Fatehpur as BJP and SP supporters brawl during voting; Several arrested

Amidst the fifth phase of voting, a case of fighting between two parties has come to light in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Read the full report of Dynamite News:



Fatehpur: Under phase-5, voting is taking place on 14 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh today. Though the polling is going on almost peaceful at all the places, there is a report of some violence from Fatehpur.  

According to Dynamite News correspondent, there was fierce brawl between BJP and SP supporters near Sanrai Holi Booth No. 139 of Jehanabad village in Fatehpur district. Both the Party workers used sticks during fighting. In the connection Police has arrested several people.

A ruckus broke out here after BJP supporters were stopped from voting. 

Surprisingly, the BJP candidate and Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti was present there at the time of ruckus. She has accused SP supporters of attack BJP workers.
