Video: Lok Sabha MP Naveen Jindal arrives at Parliament in EV, vows to fight against pollution

Noted industrialist and senior BJP MP Naveen Jindal reached Parliament by driving the shiny silver coloured four-seater Electric car. Read further on Dynamite News



New Delhi: Kurukshetra Lok Sabha MP Naveen Jindal on Friday arrived at Parliament in an MG Comet Electric Vehicle (EV) to give a message against pollution. He also drove the vehicle around Parliament complex.

 

Noted industrialist and senior BJP MP reached Parliament by driving the shiny silver coloured four-seater Electric car. Although compact in size, but in term of feature is no less than a super car. Seeing Naveen Jindal getting down from the electric car, media personnel and their cameras approached the Haryana MP.

Naveen Jindal talks to reporters

Talking to reporters, Naveen Jindal said: I want to dedicate this to Delhi. Right now Delhi is not Livable. Unfortunately, Delhi is the most polluted city in the world. Something that we cannot proud about. We are the one who responsible for it. As people’s representative it is our job to fix the issue."

He further said that this car is being manufactured by his brother and he is proud to drive the car.

Expresses concern on Yamuna

He also expressed his concern on the polluted Yamuna river.

"Yamuna has become a drain. We have done nothing for it. Now, I want to commit myself to work for Yamuna and against pollution from next year," Mr Jindal concluded.

Naveen Jindal, who secured the legal right for every Indian to hoist and display the tri colour at their homes, is known not only as a politician and industrialist but also for his innovation. Through the introduction of the MGA Comer electric vehicle, he has taken a significant step towards reducing pollution. It is hoped that other leaders and common citizens will follow his lead and become part of this noble initiative.
