Lawrence Bishnoi gang claims responsibility for Chandigarh blasts

Chandigarh: Lawrence Bishnoi group on Tuesday claimed the responsibility of the explosions occurred outside the bar-cum-lounges, De'Orra Alehouse and Seville, at Sector 26 in Chandigarh.

The Chandigarh police has lodged an FIR and started their investigation in the explosions case. 

Gangsters Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara of Lawrence Bishnoi Group ckaimed the responsibility for these blasts.

Two low-intensity blast were reported at the bar-cum-lounges, including one owned by singer and rapper Badshah, in Chandigarh between 3.15 am and 3.30am on Tuesday.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, Goldy Brar, in a Facebook post, said that protection money was sought from the club owners, but they said that they could not hear the phone ringing. "Therefore, these blasts were done to open their ears," the post read.

"I (Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara- Lawrence Bishnoi Group) am taking responsibility for it. First, Seville Restaurant, whose owner is rapper Badshah. Second, we messaged the owner of De Ora Club for protection money. But they did not hear the phone ring. So, this was done to open the ears of those who are ignoring our calls," according to the Facebook post. 

CCTV footage shows a man throwing what is suspected to be crude bombs at the bars and fled the spot.

Visuals from the incident site showed shattered window panes of the clubs due to the explosions.
