New Delhi: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday suddenly removed Kiren Rijiju as Law and Justice Minister and sent him to a rather low profile Ministry Of Earth Sciences. As soon as this news went viral, there was a flutter across the establishment.

Everyone was eager to know what had happened that Kiren Rijiju was suddenly politically marginalized in one stroke.

According to Dynamite News Correspondent, Kiren Rijiju was incessantly making comments about the judiciary and its functioning on public forums which was sending negatve and unpleasnt message all across. 

A day before the Supreme Court heard a petition on behalf of The Bombay Lawyers Association (BLA). The petition was filed against the statement of Law Minister Kiren Rijiju on Judiciary and Collegium System for the appointment of judges. However the petition was rejected by the Supreme Court.

According to Dynamite News Correspondent, the Modi government  on Thursday took away the charge of Law and Justice Ministry from Rijiju and gave it to the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and culture Arjun Ram Meghwal as additional responsibility. Rijiju has been made the Minister of Earth Sciences.
