Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak have a sigh of relief, departmental ACSs shifted

Lucknow: In latest reshuffle in the state bureaucracy, both the Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak got their Additional Chief Secretaries replaced. Both Maurya and Pathak must have had great relief as they were not contented with these officers.

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya got Manoj Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development Department replaced with Himanshu Kumar. While Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak got Additional Chief Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad replaced with 1994 batch IAS Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma.
The tussle between Brajesh Pathak and Amit Mohan Prasad began when Pathak was Law & Justice Minister in the previous Yogi government. At the time during Covid period, Amit Mohan was accused of negligence in his duties and in procurement of PPE Kits. Moreover Amit Mohan was also blamed for unrequired transfers in the Health Department. But despite all these alleged charges, no action was taken against Amit Mohan.
