Dynamite News Kerala Police exhumes body of man in Thiruvananthapuram, reason will leave you shock

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Police on Thursday exhumed the body of a man whose family claimed he had attained 'samadhi' (blissful death) in Thiruvananthapuram.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, a self-proclaimed godman's body was exhumed near Neyyattinkara in the state capital.
Body sent for autopsy
The man has been identied as Gopan Swami, 69. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Though detailed autopsy reports will come next week, initial post-mortem findings suggeted that it was a case of natural death.

The police team reached the spot, where the family had built a concrete ‘tomb’ for the man after his death, to carry out the exhumation.
Body found in sitting position
The police found the body in a sitting position and some Puja material were also found around his body.

The matter came to the fore when Gopan’s sons on January 9 sticked posters around their home, informing people that their father had attained ‘samadhi’. His son clamimed that his father had instructed them to bury him discreetly at the site, which was built for this purpose.
Protest against exhumation process
Some religious organisations staged protest against the Police action. The family also approached the High Court requesting court to stop police from exhuming the body, but the court did not stay the proceedings and instead questioned the family's intention in stalling the exhumation process.
