Thiruvananthapuram: Senior Congress leader Prof KV Thomas who attended the election campaign for the Left candidate in Thrikkakara by-election, has been expelled from primary membership of the Congress party on Thursday night.
Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President K Sudhakaran MP issued the order in this regard with the consent of the AICC, a release said.

Earlier, the AICC disciplinary committee took action against KV Thomas for defying the party decision to not attend the 23rd CPI(M) party congress in Kannur.
