Karnataka: Two women, including Israeli tourist, gang-rapped in Koppal; Male tourists attacked

Male Tourists pushed into Canal
A woman, who was homestay owner where the Israeli tourist and three other male tourists were staying, was sitting by the canal with them. They were stargazing near the canal when the accused pushed three other male tourists into the canal before sexually assaulting them.
One Still Missing
While two were managed to come out of the canal one is still missing.

Accused Sought Rs 100 From Tourists
In a complaint, lodged by 29-year-old homestay owner, the accused first started demanding Rs 100 from the tourists. On being refused, they attacked the travellers and raped the women. The bike-borne men fled the spot after committing the crime.
Case Lodged
A case under relevant sections of the law has been lodged. Two special teams have been formed to investigating the case.
