Bengaluru: The Congress party on Saturday released its third list with the names of 43 candidates. Former chief minister Siddaramaiah has not been named from the Kolar constituency where the party has fielded Kothur G Manjunath.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi, who left the BJP recently has been fielded from the Athani Assembly constituency.

Dynamite News correspondent reports, the Congress in its first list declared 124 candidates and another 42 in the second list of 224 seats in the assembly. The  elections will be held on May 10 in single phase. The counting of votes will take place on May 13.
