Bengaluru: IPS officer D Roopa Moudgil and IAS officer Rohini Sinduri were moved out of their departments in a shake-up announced this afternoon.
Faced with embarrassment following a bitter public tussle between two senior women officers, the Karnataka government on Tuesday transferred them, without specifying their new posting.
Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation Managing Director D Roopa, and Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Rohini Sindhuri Dasari had levelled allegations against each other.
Yesterday, State Home Minister Araga Jnanedra had warned action over what he called the "bad behaviour" of the two officers. (with Agency inputs)
