JPC formed to review One Nation One Election Bills

New Delhi: A Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) has been constituted to review the 'One Nation One Election Bills', reports Dynamite correspondent. 

BJP MP PP Chaudhary will head the 31-member committee. The Committe includes 21 members from the Lower House and 10 members from the Upper House.

The list also includes the names of former Union Minister and BJP Lok Sabha MP Anurag Singh Thakur and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Ex-Union Minister and Congress MP Manish Tewari and BJP MP Sambit Patra.

The Committee will submit report to Lok Sabha on the first day of last week of next session of Parliament.

The Opposition has said the 'bills are against the basic structure of the Constitution'.
