Jammu: A suspected drone activity was spotted in the bordering Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources here said on Sunday.

They said that the villager in the border hamlet noticed a flying object and informed the nearby police post.

"A team of Police rushed to the spot while the BSF men were also informed," they added.

It was suspected to be a drone and to rule out any air-dropping, searches are being carried out in the area.

"So far nothing suspicious has been found but the search operation is in progress," they said. (Agencies)
