J&K: Security forces nab 2 terrorist associates of LeT in Baramulla

Srinagar: Security forces arrested two militant associates in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said on Tuesday.

They said the two associated with banned Lashkar-e-Taiba’s shadow group The Resistance Front were arrested during a cordon and a search operation (CASO) which was launched by Police and CRPF in village Monchkhud Kunzer following a specific information.

During operation two suspects identified as Khurshid Ahmad Khan and Reyaz Ahmad Khan, both residents of Zandpal Kunzer were apprehended.

“During questioning both suspects revealed that they are working as terrorist associates with banned terrorist outfit LeT (TRF),” police said. From their possession two AK 47 magazines, 15 rounds of AK 47 and 20 posters of LeT (TRF) were recovered. (with Agency inputs)
