J&K: Dumper hits 2 minors to death in Kulgam; Driver flees away

Two minor children died after they were allegedly hit by a dumper in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday. Read further on Dynamite News:

Srinagar: Two minor children died after they were allegedly hit by a dumper in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday, officials said.

Traffic Police officials said the accident occurred at around 0855 hours near Damhal Hanjipora, where a dumper vehicle allegedly hit the two children, injuring the both critically.

The duo was taken to Sub-District Hospital DH Pora, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.

Deceased identified 
The deceased were identified as 12-year-old Mantaha Aijaz, daughter of Aijaz Ahmad Wani, resident of DH Pora, and a 3-year-old Amman Aijaz, son of Aijaz Ahmad Hella, resident of Yaroo.

The driver along with the vehicle have run away after committing the crime, they said, and added that police have launched a manhunt to trace the accused. (with Agency inputs)
