Kupwara: The Indian Army gunned down two Pakistani soldiers in Kupwara district on Monday night.

In retaliation to unprovoked ceasefire violations by Pakistan, the Indian Army carried out a calibrated action in Kupwara district in the Tangdhar sector along the Line of Control. There have been several attempts by the Pakistani Army to facilitate infiltration leading to exchange of fires.

On Monday, an Indian Army soldier, Pushpendra Singh, laid down his life while foiling infiltration bid in the same sector. (ANI)
