New Delhi: Jindal Steel Indian Open Polo Championship 2025, one of the historic and prestigious polo tournaments of India, got a grand start. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla was the Chief Guest. A large number of senior MPs and other dignitaries were in attendance on the occasion.

In the match played on Tuesday, the country's leading industrialist and BJP MP Naveen Jindal led the Jindal Panther team and defeated Team Carisil by 8-7 in a thrilling match. The competition between father and son as players of the opposite teams was also seen in the game.

In this match, Jindal Panther team led by Naveen Jindal defeated Team Carisil 8-7. Lok Sabha MP Naveen Jindal led Team Jindal Panther and inspired the Indian polo community with his captaincy.

The main attraction of the match was that the game started at a fast pace, where Shamshir Ali of Team Carisil scored the first goal. After this the match became very exciting and Team Jindal Panther made a strong counterattack. By halftime, Jindal Panthers had taken a 5-2 lead, which clearly reflected their strategic ability.

The match witnessed a historic moment when a father-son clash was witnessed as players. While Shamshir Ali played for Team Carisil, his son Hurr Ali was a part of Team Jindal Panther. This has been a rare sight in the history of Indian polo. The match remained close till the last round and both the teams displayed tremendous coordination and sportsmanship. Eventually, Team Jindal Panther won with a thrilling score of 8-7.
