Jammu: Man held with intoxicant capsules

A special drive against drugs was launched by the police against drug peddlers in Jammu and intercepted one person coming in Paloura area, a police officer said.

Jammu: A man was held by the police after they allegedly recovered intoxicant drugs from his possession here today.

On search of his belongings, the police party recovered 69 intoxicant tablets and 264 capsules which he was carrying without any permission and prescription, he said.



A case has been registered at police station Janipur and further investigation in the case is on, he added. (With PTI inputs)
