Jammu & Kashmir: Suspected terrorist held in Kulgam, arms & ammunition recovered

Srinagar: A suspected terrorist was arrested by security forces in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Army said on Thursday. 


According to Dynamite News correspondent, the arrest was made during a joint cordon and search operation launched by the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Thokarpura mohallah of Kulgam’s Qaimoh on Wednesday.

Arms & Ammunition recovered 
An assault rifle and other arms and ammunitions were also recovered from the suspect, the Army added.
 
Chinar Corps 
"During search, one suspected individual has been apprehended along with recovery of 01xAK Rifle, 04xAK Magazines, 120xAK Rounds, 02xHand Grenades & other war like stores.


Further Investigation by Police is in progress," Srinagar-based Chinar Corps said in a post on X.
