J-K: Indian Army evacuates pregnant lady in need of critical medical treatment

The Gugaldhar Battalion of the Indian Army carried out a swift medical evacuation of a pregnant lady who was in critical condition and needed medical attention at an urgent basis in a remote village in Kupwara. Read further on Dynamite News:

Kupwara: The Gugaldhar Battalion of the Indian Army carried out a swift medical evacuation of a pregnant lady who was in critical condition and needed medical attention at an urgent basis in a remote village in Kupwara.

The local Army unit rendered life-saving medical first aid along with assistance for timely evacuation.

There was no civil medical specialist available in the region, as it had recently experiences heavy snowfall, disrupting road connectivity.

Due to this, evacuation was only possible on stretchers by undertaking foot movement.

The combat soldier nursing assistant of Army Unit at Jumagund village and the medical officer of the battalion at PK Gali carried out necessary prognosis and monitoring of health state to enable safe evacuation. (ANI)
