Israel shooting: Police officer killed, 10 others injured

Beersheba (Israel): A Border Police officer was killed and at least 10 others were injured in a firing incident reportedly carried out by a terrorist in Israel's Beersheba on Sunday. 

The deceased has been identified as Shira Suslik, 19, a Border Police officer from Beersheba, according to local media reports.

Attacker killed

The attacker, who was said to be killed at the scene by IDF, was identified as Ahmad al-Uqbi, 29, an Israeli citizen from the unrecognised Bedouin village of Uqbi, the Times of Israel reported.

All injured were shifted to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
