Kolkata: A day after two groups clashed with each other in West Bengal's Birbhum district on Holi, the State Government on Saturday suspend the internet services till March 17 and deployed a heavy security forces to maintain the law and order in the area.

Quarell broke out between two groups in Sainthia town on Friday which soon turned into full-blown clash as stones were hurled at each other, causing injuries to some locals.
The police said that the situation was under control and that the interset service was suspended to stop the spread of misinformation.
