IndiGo cancels Ranchi flights due to fog

Ranchi: Low visibility caused by the fog in Ranchi compelled IndiGo Airlines to cancel all flights to and from the city for today.  

IndiGo issues statement 
"Due to reduced visibility caused by fog in #Ranchi, all flights to/from the city have been cancelled for today," the airlines said in a statement.

The airlines said that passengers travelling from the city could opt for to reschedule or claim a refund. 

Many parts of Jharkhand, including the city, saw rainfall on Monday morning due to cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal.

According to reports, the weather will improve from December 11.
