Dubia: Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first in a Group A match against India at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium today. 

 

After winning the toss, Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan said: "It is a good wicket and it doesn't matter how it plays, they just want to post a good total. Every match is important in the ICC events and hopes that the boys do well this time." 

Rohit Sharma said it doesn't really matter now what they wanted to do.He mentioned that this wicket looked similar to what they played on in the last game and need to bowl well.

Pakistan scored 25/0 runs after the completion of 5 overs. Imam-ul-Haq is on 9 and Babar Azam is on 10.

India got first break through as Babar Azam (23) was caught behind the stump off Hardik Pandya. KL Rahul made no mistake.

Opener Imam-ul-Haq dismissed for 10 off 26 balls. Axar Patel's direct hit done the trick for India.

Axar Patel gave India breakthrough as he cleaned bowled Pakistan skipper Mohd Rizwan for 46. Pakistan were 154/3 in 34 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav dismisses Salman Agha & Shaheen Afridi in two consecutive balls, reducing Pakistan 200/7 in 42.5 overs.
