Dharamshala: Apart from the memorable performance of Ravichandran Ashwin (four wickets for 51 runs and five wickets for 77 runs) in the 100th match of his Test career, with the help of brilliant bowling by Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah, India won the fifth and final Test.

England had scored 218 runs in the first innings on the ground of Dharamshala surrounded in the beautiful valleys of the Himalayas, in response to which India scored 477 runs in its first innings with the help of centuries from captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill and took an important lead of 259 runs. And in the second innings, England's innings was bundled out for 195 runs and they won the match as well as the series. (with Agency inputs)
