New Delhi: India on Thursday strongly condemned an incident of security breach during Foreign Minister S Jaishankar's official visit to the UK. 

A group of Khalistani extremists heckled Jaishankar in London when he was leaving after attending an event in London. 

"We condemn provocative activities of small group of extremists," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said. 

India called the activity a misuse of the democratic freedom.

"We deplore the misuse of democratic freedoms by such elements. We expect the host government in such cases to fully live upto their diplomatic obligations," he further added.
