New Delhi: The country is celebrating the National Engineer's Day today on September 15 by sharing inspiring wishes, messages and quotes.

The Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of renowned engineer Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a pioneer in the field of engineering and Bharat Ratna laureate.

Since 1968
Observed since 1968, this celebration acknowledges the pivotal role engineers play in shaping the nation's infrastructure, technology and innovation. 

In 2024, the theme is 'Solutions for a Sustainable World' that urges the need for responsible engineering solutions.
