Mumbai: India were bowled out for 263 runs, taking a crucial 28 runs lead on the second Day of the third and the final Test against New Zealand being played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. 

For India, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant played 90 and 60 runs innings respectively. Washington Sundar remained not out at 38. 

Kiwi spinner Ajaz Patel took five wickets haul after conceding 103 runs in 21.4 overs.

NZ wins toss 

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first.

NZ scores 235 in first innings 

The visitors were bowled out for 235 runs in the first innings. Daryl Mitchell scored an excellent 82 runs for the Kiwi team, while Will Young scored 71 runs.

Spinner Ravindra Jadeja took 5 wickets while Washington Sundar took 4 wickets. Besides, Akashdeep also took one wicket.
