In a surprise twist, Yogi Aditynath is the next CM of Uttar Pradesh

New Delhi: Gorakhpur lawmaker Yogi Adityanath will be the next Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, according to sources, even as the party's 312 newly-elected MLAs met in Capital Lucknow to formally elect their new leader.

Adityanath, a five-time MP from the Gorakhpur constituency, was the youngest member of the 12th Lok Sabha at the age of 26.

According to sources, Uttar Pradesh is said to have two deputy chief ministers - Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma.
