Dubai: New Zealand has won the toss and decided to bat first against India in the final at Dubai International Stadium.

 


After winning the toss, Kiwi skipper Mitchell Santner said it looked like a very good wicket, and they will look to put runs on the board.  

After loosing another toss, Rohit Sharma said he does not mind batting second here as they have batted first and bowled first previously at the same ground.

India has not made any changes to its playing eleven. 

India and New Zealand are playing against each other in the champions trophy final after 25 years.

Rachin Ravindra was on fire, helping New Zealand scored 36 runs in 5 overs.

 

Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Tom Latham for 14, reducing New Zealand to 108/4 in 23.2 overs.

New Zealand reached 135/4 runs after 30 overs.

New Zealand scored 172/5 runs after the completion of 40 overs.
