Bhubaneswer: Senior IAS officer Manoj Ahuja has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Odisha.
Manoj Ahuja, a 1990 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Odisha and Secretary to General Administration and Public Grievance Department, said a state government notification today.

These appointments came three days after Appointment Committee of the Union Cabinet approved his repatriation to his parent cadre on the request of the state government, leading to the speculation about his possible elevation to the post of Chief Secretary. He was earlier serving as the Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
