Himani Narwal Murder: Haryana Police arrests suspect

Rohtak: A man was arrested in connection with the murder of Haryana Congress worker Himani Narwal, police said on Monday.  

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the accused is a resident of Haryana's Bahadurgarh and  has been identified as Sachin. He was Himani's friend.

"We have arrested one accused and further investigations are on," a Haryana police official said.

The body of the 22-year-old woman Congress worker was found stuffed in a suitcase in Rohtak's Sampla, sending a shock wave across the town.

She was Associated with 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' 
Himani was also seen walking along Congress leader Rahul Gandhi Rahul Gandhi during the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. The slain Congress worker had also shared a photograph with Rahul Gandhi on social media, wherein she donned a traditional state attire. 

Also campaigned in Haryana Assembly polls
She had also campaigned for senior party leaders Deepender Hooda and Bhupendra Hooda in Rohtak in the last year's elections. (With Agency Inputs)
