Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addressed a press conference on Saturday. Highlights of her press conference. 

1. If prime minister asks me to touch his feet for welfare of Bengal people, I am ready to do that; but I should not be insulted.

2. PMO humiliated me, tweets posted to tarnish my image: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on her decision to skip review meeting with PM Modi on cyclone devastation.

3. Whenever you come to my state, you always create some confusion and confrontation. Why? Even when I took oath, the governor gave a statement on the law and order situation.

4. I have some friends who are working in the national level media. Sometimes, from the PMO office, they get directive to give partisan news so that they can insult me like anything.

5. “You tell us, what is our fault? The meeting was not what it was decided earlier. Why for two consecutive years, have you not recognised opposition parties in Delhi government?”
