Lucknow: Speculation is very high over the possibility of the reshuffling in the Yogi Adityanath ministry in Uttar Pradesh very soon.

Governor Anandiben Patel, who is also in charge of Madhya Pradesh, suddenly returned to Lucknow on Thursday from Bhopal in the midst of the speculation of expansion of Yogi Adityanath cabinet in Uttar Pradesh.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath too is slated to meet the Governor in the evening after returning from a tour of the districts.

The meeting is being linked to the possibilities of cabinet expansion. But there is no official word on this yet.

Along with UP, Anandiben Patel, who was also serving as the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, went to Bhopal on May 10 and was slated to stay there till Saturday next.

But the arrival of the Governor in Lucknow and her meeting with Yogi Adityanath was seen as a major political development by the political analysts. Governor is slated to meet CM at 1900 hrs today.

But Rajbhawan sources said that the CM meet with the governor could be just a courtesy call and nothing else. As the governor was not in Lucknow for the past 17 days hence, CM was coming to meet her. The sources also said that the return of the governor to Lucknow was as per the schedule.

Significantly, after the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior BJP leaders and senior RSS officials in Delhi recently, the discussion of the reshuffle in the Yogi Cabinet and the State BJP organization is in full swing.

At the centre of the viral speculation is Arvind Sharma, a close aide of Modi. The way he was made an MLC after leaving the bureaucracy and joining the BJP recently, the discussion is all around that he can be entrusted with the responsibility of making him deputy CM in the Yogi cabinet.

With this, some more reshuffle may also be in the organization to fill the vacant six posts of ministers.
