Karnaprayag: Due to torrential rains on Wednesday evening, normal life was disrupted in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Many roads were blocked. Many vehicles were buried under the debris in Tharali.

According to the Dynamite News correspondent, the torrential rains in Tharali area wreaked havoc. People are facing a lot of problems. The streams flowing in the hilly areas have suddenly overflowed. The BRO is busy opening the road.

Two vehicles, an Alto car and a Scorpio got buried under the debris due to the floods from Siphai Gadhera near Ramlila Maidan on the Tharali-Dewal motorway.

The Karnprayag Gwaldam National Highway also got blocked near Nasir Bazaar.

The BRO is busy opening the national highway. At the same time, the Tharali Dewal motorway is expected to open only by tomorrow. People are scared due to the lightning and strong thundering winds.
