Harshwardhan Sapkal appointed new Maharashtra Congress Chief

New Delhi: Buldhana legislator Harshwardhan Sapkal has been appointed as President of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

Besides, Bramhapuri MLA Vijay Wadettiwar has also been named as the Leader of the Congress Legislative Party in Maharashtra. 

Sapkal To Replace Patole
Sapkal would replace Nana Patole, who resigned as State Congress Chief, owning moral responsibility for the party’s crushing defeat in Assembly elections happened last year in November.
