Gujarat: Wife booked for abetting husband’s suicide in Botad, man made video before death

Botad: A woman was booked woman for allegedly abetting her husband's suicide in Gujarat’s Botad, police said on Saturday. 

According to the Dynamite News correspondent, man, identified as Suresh Sathadiya, was found dead in  Zamrala village in Botad district last month.

Man records video before death 
The man, who was in his late thirties, made a video requesting his family to teach his wife a lesson for causing his death, according to police. 

Complaint filed by family
Based on a complaint filed by the deceased family, a first information report (FIR) was registered on Friday against the man's wife, Jayaben, the police said.

The man’s father in his complaint alleged that his daughter-in-law mentally harassed his son by frequently quarrelling with him. 

FIR lodged 
The FIR stated that the man had gone to his in-laws' place to request her to return home. But when she refused, the man returned home and allegedly hanged himself after recording a video. (With Agency Inputs)
