Gujarat: Eight-year-old girl dies of suspected cardiac arrest in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: In a tragic incident, an eight-year-old girl died of a suspected cardiac arrest in her school in Ahmedabad on Friday, officials said.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, the girl was studying in class 3 in a private school in Thaltej area.
CCTV Video
In the CCTV video, which school management shared with the police, the girl was seen walking in the lobby and going towards her classroom. But suddenly, she felt uncomfortable and sat a chair. Later, she was seen sliding from the chair after losing her conscious.

Principal of the school Sharmishtha Sinha said teacher conducted CPR on her as she was experiencing difficulty in breathing and called an ambulance.
But owing to her deteriorating health, we decided to take her to a hospital in our own vehicle.
Doctors tried to revive her, but they could not save her. Doctors there told us that she had suffered a cardiac arrest, the principal said.

Police
The police said that the body was sent for post-mortem to know the exact cause of her death. (With Agency Inputs)
