Gujarat Assembly Elections: 68.70 percent voting recorded in second phase
Voting has ended in the second phase of the Gujarat assembly elections 2017. Total 68.70 % voting recorded in second phase of polling in Gujarat.
Gandhinagar: Voter turnout of 68.70 percent was recorded in the second and final phase of Gujarat Assembly elections on Thursday. This is less than 71.3 percent voter turnout recorded in the previous Gujarat assembly elections held in 2012. Polling was held on 93 Gujarat assembly seats in 14 districts of state.
Total turnout till 4 pm was recorded 62.37%, Banaskantha had highest turnout at 66%. Till 2 pm, 47.40 percent of voter turnout was recorded.

In second phase of voting, total of 851 candidates were in the fray for 93 seats in north, west and central parts of Gujarat in the second phase. The first phase of voting was held on 89 seats on 9th December.
Gujarat has total 182 assembly seats.The results will be declared on 18 December.
