Groom's brother killed, 10 injured after dispute at marriage function in UP's Ballia

Ballia: A 15-year-old boy was beaten to death following a dispute over a dance at a wedding function in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia, police said on Sunday.
The wedding procession came from Pakdi to Chakkhan village in Sikandpur. The dispute broke out over a female dancer.
The deceased was identified as Krishna Rajbhar (15), who was brother of the groom.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the groom's brother was beaten to death with sticks and about 10-12 people from both the sides were also injured.
The entire dispute was over a female dancer which turned into a full-blown fight. After the murder, the baraati side expressed their anger over the murder and sat on the road to protest against the incident.
The groom's father Bhagwan Rajbhar became emotional while narrating the entire incident and said that despite his repeated attempts to stop the fight, the fight did not stop and his son was murdered.

Ballia's Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Anil Kumar Jha said based on the complaint received from the family of the deceased, a case has been registered and legal action is being taken by taking the four named accused into custody.
