Gorakhpur Tragedy: PM Modi is constantly monitoring the situation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's office has tweeted that PM Modi is constantly monitoring developments in Gorakhpur. He is in constant touch with authorities from the Central & UP Governments.

New Delhi: In the series of tweets, Prime Minister Office has posted on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is concern over the Gorakhpur gas Tragedy.

PM Modi also ordered to MoS Health Anupriya Patel and the Union Health Secretary to probe situation from Gorakhpur.

What exactly happened?

Atleast 30 children lost their lives due to mismanagment and lack of oxygen to the patient at Gorakhpur's BRD Medical College. These deaths have taken place over the past 48 hours. Earlier, on August 9, UP Chief Minister had gone to the hospital for inspection during his Gorkhpur visit. Gorakhpur is Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath’s former Parliamentary constituency.
